The Journey:
Peri-Menopause,
Menopause,
&
Post-Menopause.

Menopause & Perimenopause Counselling...... A space to land, to be heard, to untangle the complex feelings.

Perimenopause, Menopause and Post Menopause counselling support that is intended for all women.
If you find yourself with questions, or perhaps you are experiencing a few (or many) of the broad range of symptoms brought about by the roller coaster of shifts and the decline of hormones ~ counselling can offer a safe space to voice your reality and the challenges that you are navigating.

Through a relational, somatic, and mindfulness-based approach, you are supported in reconnecting with your body, your voice, and your sense of self—at a pace that feels right for you.

Perimenopause and menopause can bring emotional, physical, and relational changes that can feel difficult to navigate alone.

 You may be:
  • Feeling overwhelmed or emotionally stretched.
  • Moving through waves of anxiety, irritability, anger, frustration or grief
  • Feeling disconnected from your body or sense of self
  • Navigating shifts in identity, roles, relationships (with self and with others)
  • Holding the quiet weight of expectations—internal or external
  • Carrying invisible expectations about how you "should" be coping.
  • Longing for steadiness, clarity, a place to land. or a sense of yourself again.

Through counselling, there is space to arrive as you are.
Together, we can explore the intense emotions that land and build coping tools.
Unpack any overwhelm that you may be feeling, with strategies to move forward.
Support your re-connecting and re-aligning with your sense of self

Nothing needs to be minimized or pushed aside.

Experiencing a wide array of responses makes sense in the context of change!

A Relational, Feminist, and Trauma-Informed Practice
At the heart of this work is relationship.
Not only the therapeutic relationship we build together—but your relationship with yourself, your body, and the world around you.

My approach is grounded in a relational and feminist lens, which means:
Honouring your lived experience as valid and wise
By staying curious about the broader contexts shaping your story
Moving away from “fixing” and towards understanding, choice, and self-trust
This is a space where you are met, not managed.

Listening to the Body, Making Meaning Through Words
   Our work may weave together:
  • Somatic awareness — noticing sensations, patterns of tension, and nervous system responses
  • Mindfulness and grounding — supporting presence and gentle regulation
  • Reflective dialogue — giving language to what’s been hard to name.

This can support:
  • A more compassionate connection with your body
  • Greater capacity to move with emotional waves
  • Clarity around what you need—and what matters now
  • A felt sense of steadiness, even amidst change

While this transition can feel unsettling, it can also be a threshold - a space between who you have been and who you are becoming.

What if menopause was never meant to be something to manage - but something that releases the deeper wisdom & meaning of your life experiences?

Rather than something to get through, this time can also be understood as a turning point—a shift in rhythm, identity, and inner orientation.

What It’s Like to Work Together & What You Can Expect:
  • A warm, grounded, and attuned presence
  • A pace shaped by your comfort and consent
  • Space for both emotional exploration and practical support
  • Space for your emotional landscape
  • Support that honours your nervous system
  • Respect for your pace, boundaries, and capacity
  • A collaborative, therapeutic relationship rooted in trust and curiosity

This is not about becoming someone new.
It’s about coming into relationship with who you are in the here & now.
