Counselling & Art Therapy can open new pathways for going forward in your life, fostering peace, balance & whole-hearted living.
I invite you to learn how to nourish your unique spirit and step into well-being, personal growth, and emotional healing.
During counselling and art therapy sessions I often turn to the nurturing elements found in nature, encouraging individuals to reconnect with their natural surroundings, creating space for re-introducing peace, mindfulness, balance and grounding. In the fast paced society that surrounds our lives, the counter balance that nature provides is a balm of serenity and calm.
You will find that art therapy is a unique counselling specialty that is an embodied process that allows for verbal and non-verbal expression. Within art therapy there is a continual movement between doing and thinking, expressing and processing, action and receptivity.
Both counselling and art therapy can offer pathways forward to engaging with life more fully, with an invitation to explore and discover the wisdom of the whole self. These therapeutic modalities create an opportunity for intentionality of time, where individuals can celebrate being a work in progress.
Please note that while my psychological approach is effective for a broad range of areas, I do not work with individuals with severe and persistent mental illness or those who need between-session interventions.
